We have completed another important optimization round for Spixor. This update focuses on making the builder and dashboard settings smoother, lighter, and more reliable while preparing the foundation for one of our upcoming features: Flex Forms.
A smoother settings experience
Over the past update cycle, we worked on the internal structure of the Spixor settings system. The goal was simple: reduce unnecessary loading, prevent duplicate panel rendering, and make the settings experience feel faster and more stable.
Several behind-the-scenes improvements were made to how settings panels are mounted, refreshed, and switched. This helps reduce unnecessary DOM usage and makes the builder more efficient, especially when working with advanced sections such as forms, styling, layout, and other smart settings.
In practical terms, this means:
- faster settings panel behavior;
- fewer unnecessary refreshes;
- more stable category and subtab switching;
- improved memory usage inside the builder;
- better preparation for larger future features.
These changes are part of our ongoing work to make Spixor feel smoother and more professional with every update.
Preparing Flex Forms
We have also added the first major preparation layer for Flex Forms.
Flex Forms is an upcoming Spixor feature that will allow users to add and manage contact forms directly inside the builder. The long-term goal is to make forms export-friendly, safe, and flexible without forcing Spixor itself to send emails on behalf of users.
This update does not fully release Flex Forms yet.
For users who do not yet have access, Flex Forms will now clearly show that the feature is still in development instead of displaying incomplete controls. For approved test users, the builder can now recognize access much faster and show the correct Flex Forms settings directly.
Better handling for development features
Since Spixor is still in pre-alpha, some features need to be tested carefully before they are made available to everyone. This update improves how we handle those early-access features.
Instead of exposing unfinished tools too early, Spixor can now better separate:
- unavailable features;
- future public release states.
This gives us more control while keeping the user experience cleaner and less confusing.
What this means for users
Most of this update happens behind the scenes, but it directly supports a better builder experience. The settings system is becoming more stable, the builder is getting lighter, and the foundation for upcoming form features is now much stronger.
Flex Forms is still in development, but this update brings us one step closer to a safe and polished release.
What’s next
Next, we will continue optimizing the builder settings lifecycle and category switching behavior. After that, we will keep refining Flex Forms toward a first controlled release.
As always, Spixor is being improved step by step with a strong focus on stability, performance, and a clean building experience.
